Yale Public Safety provides electronic fingerprinting services free of charge to Yale students, staff, and faculty members only. Requestors must supply their own fingerprint cards. Currently, only Federal and State of Connecticut fingerprint card templates are supported.
Electronic fingerprinting services are available at the Central ID Center by appointment only.
You must supply two forms of government issued ID for proof of identity.
Electronic fingerprinting services are dependent on staff availability and require an appointment.
If you are unable to make these times, the New Haven Police Department also provides fingerprint services. They charge $25 and do not require an appointment. Currently, they are available for fingerprints Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. These hours are subject to change.
