The ID Card identifies you as a current member of the Yale community and should be carried with you at all times while you are on campus.
In addition to serving as identification, the ID card controls access to residential colleges, dining halls, libraries, recreational facilities and other University buildings and services. Building access is controlled by Yale Security Access Control in conjunction with the building administrator and/or registrar.
There are two University ID Centers, one located on central campus and the other at the medical school.
